Indigo Park Nature Areas
This conservation easement (December 2010) preserves two areas, totaling 3.1 acres. Habitat types that are preserved via this easement include maritime forest, salt shrub thicket and tidal salt marsh. This easement also protects four small hummock islands.
The variety of habitat types within these preserved areas provides valuable habitat for birds and mammals, as evidenced by data collected from the Bobcat GPS Project.
